Ukrainian IT company assisted Kazakhstan in the informatization of medicine


Softline Company was the general contractor for the project in an international consulting.



The Republic of Kazakhstan implemented a large investment project on informatization of medicine, aiming at the creation of a unified health information system in Kazakhstan ( SHIS ). To minimize the risks inherent in implementing such large-scale projects, the leadership of the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan decided to make an audit decision and appealed for assistance from international consultants.



International consultants on the project of creation of the Unified Health Information System is part of the approved order of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan State Program of Reforming and Development of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2005-2010, as well as ... Prosperity, security and the welfare of all Kazakhs ...



Softline Company was the general contractor for the international consulting project, which was implemented with the participation of partners: Microsoft Corp. , USA, CISCO USA, Siemens Germany, Ocean Informatics Australia, the Ministry of Information Development of Moldova, MUK of Ukraine, Ukrainian Project Management Association, Institute of Strategic Studies, Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Ukrainian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, Center for Health Statistics in the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.



As a result, an international consultancy was formed to technical advice and information architecture UHMIS, the requirements for organizations managing such projects, the recommendation to the formation of the National Center of Informatization in public health, recommendations for the training of users UHMIS.


Introduction UHMIS in Kazakhstan will provide an opportunity to create a unified system for collecting, analyzing and storing information, enter electronic medical records, to familiarize all practitioners with the best clinical practices and provide quality control of medical services.
